Well the Around New Zealand Air Safari (an iniative by Flying NZ to raise the awareness of local Aero Clubs around New Zealand) is now officially over. I was very priviledged to be flying on in this event in New Zealand's only PBY-5A "Catalina" twin-engine World War Two Canso amphibious flying boat, ZK-PBY. It is currently the only air worthy PBY-5A in Australasia. There are very few "Catalina's" left in the world. View below my trip via my daily blog.

Watch out on “Sunrise” TV3 on the morning of Tuesday 23rd March to see the Safari participants at Ardmore Aerodrome before they depart.
